I'm back online and ready to resume assault on the blog!! I've got DSL through SBC in house and look forward to revisiting all the unearthly delights contained herein. Right now I'm going to read through the 5,000 movie reviews that are probably up on Ian's site. Feel free to browse old posts and read the inane comments I've left there... it will be like a special re-release of a post with bonus material (which isn't worth the price), or a game you sucked at as a kid which you can now get further in. Which reminds me, I've still never beaten Blaster Master...
Yeah you! I have SBC DSL and it is teh suxor! Actually it's always been stable for me but I'm like 300 miles from the CO which is like 10k from the pipeline which is near the backend T69er pentium 1 mmx boner. In other words my speed kinda sucks. Why do I bother to type stuff when I'm not even responding to the post? Now I'm no better than those automated advertisements that are hittting every blog asking people to lower their mortgage. Fuck em I'm raising mine.
ReplyDeleteOH GALLA, well, I actually live very close to the switching station which serves DSL to this area... so I get pretty fast speeds of love. Now I have to just leave my DSL modem on for 10 days in a row NO TURNING IT OFF LOLOLOL!!!11 so that the connection can stabilize. Which means I have to stay up for 240 hours in a row, over 4 times as long as that guy who died in Korea playing video games!! Whatever, I'm now into my 29th hour of Diablo II... I need more coffee...
ReplyDeleteLOLO!!!!11 Sorry I get it.
ReplyDeleteIf you're seriously still playing Diablo II I have both the game and expansion and would kill to hang with you online. I used to have a killer character but that was over 3 years ago. We'll make a time to meet and hang regularly. Unless you're kidding of course in which case you can kontinue to make fun of me. LOL!!!!@!12233 (<-_-<) <--Kirby
...I'm sorry.....oh god....
ReplyDeleteHehe I let XBOX choose it so it's "RevertentMack" or "RevertantMack" I'm not sure. but I'm never on because I have like two games that use it actively and the RPG's just have content download. Let me know what game we can team up on I'll go by it and play it when I get free time in December after my semester is over. REMEMBER-DAN IS STILL IN SCHOOL BECAUSE HE IS COOL!
ReplyDeleteHopefully neither of you missed my scathing comments in an earlier XBox live post. Anyway, I put in Diablo II yesterday to test my Internet connection (since it's the only online game I even have anymore), and my character on USEast was still there, so I played her for an hour or so.
ReplyDeleteIan, get this - they actually put out a new version (1.11) earlier this month, featuring three new ultimate bosses in Hell difficulty that drop god equipment. Could this be the time to exhume Hungry Hank and gird up our loins once more?!?!
Could it ever! This Thursday night at approximately 8 p.m. CST, Hungry Hank, Kane, and the guy that Ken brings ... will kill them ALL!!!!
ReplyDeleteWait! Let me join! Let me know what server and I'll bring a lvl 1 character.
ReplyDeleteThis blog is slowly turning Sasquatch.
ReplyDeleteI'M THE HELL OUTTA HERE!!!!!
Diablo II probably won't run on my shit ass old computer. (P3 700mhz, 512mb, 32mb GeForce2).
ReplyDeleteDan, I've got Halo 2, Ghost Recon I, and Splinter Cell 2 right now, those would be my best Live games. I also have Outlaw Volleyball, Crimson Skies, and some other game, but they mostly suckmahballz.
Actually, Ken, it probably would. You forget that DII is over 5 years old now. *heh* Really, I know there are so many better games out for multiplayer (or just in general), but this game is about as close as you can get to a good, old-fashioned 8-bit killfest in the modern era of gaming.
ReplyDeleteKen, I think your P3 computer might be TOO powerful. D2 doesn't have very high requirements. Anywho, I'm getting sticky thinking about all of us getting online and killing together. I can host the game ... Kev, I assume all I have to do is hit the update button and I'll be in 1.11? Will all of our acquired and manufactured shit work there?
ReplyDeleteCrap, just getting items to the other will take hours ... All I know is that Thursday night, as soon as I get home from work, which will be a little after 7 CST, I'm gonna get my aol im account open and we can gather and assemble.
And then we will use our talents to deal death to digital demons in demi-God fashion.
Ian, just connect to battle.net (you don't even need to create a game, just select any multi-player option) and you'll automatically d/l and install the 1.11 patch. All our shit from 1.10 will work, I just don't know about our ability to manipulate items & characters from 1.11. Unless they changed the game code dramatically, we should still be able to use the 1.10 editor. Probably only Ian understood any of that. Sorry. If you're not Ian, you were better off reading another post.
ReplyDeleteOh, God! What have I done! It's like when I told Siskel to eat me and he died the next day ...
ReplyDeleteI'm going to hell ... not later ... this afternoon ... I'll be back after the luncheon ... I'll see if I can sneak out some devil dogs.
I love you guys! I love you!
"Well, we don't love you"
I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU! (gurgling sound of Steve choking me)
You'll also need the Expansion Set. Sorry, dude.
ReplyDeleteI got the patch last night and played around in Hell. I think the patch only adds new bosses to Battlenet. Do our characters work on Battlenet?
ReplyDeleteI didn't try, I was just getting reacquainted with Hungry Hank and my necromancer, who will remain nameless so Ken, and whomever else gets in on it, receives the full effect of how powerful a name can be.
Anywho, maybe sometime this weekend we can all hook up and kill things.
Long live King what's his name.
