ReplyDeleteI do not know many Muslims or associate with many Muslims. This makes me a poor person to comment on their culture, but I'll share my insensitive view and chalk it up to anonymous. This is my opinion only, and Muslims may not like this, but the fact is they have a 4th century religion that is now being used in the 21st century. In addition, it is against their religious doctrine to change anything about it. Plus, it was founded by one of history's greatest conquerors. I think someone made a good point on another website about how Muslims blow up embassys, crash planes into buildings etc and there is no Muslim outrage. But publish a cartoon and they take their outrage to the streets, burning everything they see. You know what would be more productive and make people think better of you? First Treat women with respect. Then take a shower.

In an adult world temper tantrums just don't wash. You have to work with others and compromise, meaning you get part of what you want in exchange for giving up something else. (In this case it looks like you are giving up part of your soul for some tasty cheeseburgers).

But REALITY CHECK HERE! this is the real world, where you are going to run into people you disagree with everyday. You can spend all your time killing all those people, or you can grin, bear it, and know in your heart you are doing the right thing, regardless of what those other cretins think.
