Fantasy Football
Kevin, Ken and I are already in. Josh and Dan, where are you guys! If you need the specifics, check with either of us and we can give you the league ID# and the password, the e-mails were sent out but who knows how old the addresses I have are. The draft is tomorrow morning, so get your teams in!

I'm gonna get made fun of pretty hard here- but I've never done a fantasy football league anything for two reasons- 1) I don't even know what it is and 2) I don't follow sports or gamble.
ReplyDeleteI pretty much follow Eagles football and some Cardinals baseball but that pretty much sums up the extent of my sport knowledge. Remember I was the guy who asked what a "gridiron" was.

ReplyDeleteWell, if you want in, great. At the moment, there are 8 teams. There need to be even teams for the draft so the last one in will be removed if there is an odd number of teams. So think about this Dan, if you don't join and Josh does, Josh gets booted. It will be YOUR fault.
I don't know how you'll ever sleep again. Just think about Fantasy Football like imagining what would happen if you slept with some girl who had the reputation of being great in bed. If you sleep with her and it's true, you win. If you sleep with her and she's a dead fish in bed, then you lose. Either way, you got laid.
What's a gridiron? Geez ....
Hey, Dan, don't worry - I barely follow football either, but I still play - autodraft, baby!! Plus, my overall lack of modern sports knowledge didn't stop me from having both the best team name and the best smack talk quote in the entire league. There are other ways to win besides winning.

ReplyDeleteDan, you can either draft for yourself live with the rest of the group that can at 9:15 a.m. PST tuesday 9/6 or the computer will autodraft what it thinks is best for you. You could also make your own player rankings by clicking on the pre-draft rankings button that comes up when you hit the tab to look at your team. You have until an hour or so before the draft to adjust those rankings if you want to. That way, you could put as many Eagles players up top if you'd like to try to get as many as you could.

ReplyDeleteOk, the draft is done. The teams are in. Don't forget that when you click on the match-up button for each week (on the league screen), you can vote to say who you think will win each match-up.
