Is the world going deaf?

I'm sitting on the bus right now, and even though I am a good 10 feet away from this middle aged cracker with headphones, I can clearly hear that he is rocking out to Beyonce. I've noticed that this happens a lot. I always thought that headphones do a decent job of hiding the sound from others - so either headphones suck these days, or people are going deaf.

    I am paying for a car. It runs poorly, and if I were to bring it into the city, Mayor Daley would steal it for the numerous parking violations I have accrued. Not everybody has dual incomes, shitface.
