I've been wasting alot of time on FatWallet lately. What is it you ask? Well, the foundation of the site is sort of like a rewards program where you can earn 'fat cash' for shopping at certain online retailers. I don't really take advantage of that aspect of it however, as I am too lazy to keep track of that shit.
What I do use it for are the forums. Especially the Hot Deals, Contests, and Free Stuff forums. I've only been on the site for a month or two and have already won two free bottles of lotion (ha ha jerking off), a King Kong poster, that 'The Ringer' pass that I never used, and I'll be receiving a free Senseo coffee machine.
I probably hit the 'Hot Deals' forum the most though, and there's usually a few things that catch my eye there every week. I picked up some $19 500 piece poker chip sets recently on a screw-up from Home Depot that someone caught. Within hours the price was back to '$39.99'. The contests and free stuff are just asking to be spammed, but if you are like me and have a fake email account (idontreadspam@gmail.com) - and you also already receive tons of spam at home, it's not a big issue.
There's also a Travel forum and a Finance forum - which are good too. So if you're at home punchin' the midget, check it out when you're done after a couple minutes.
How can I trust you? I took a break from floggin the dolphin to look at AVS, and there no PORNIO to be seen. What gives?
