The Sobering Conclusion Makes Its Conclusions!

Aside from finishing up a few reviews, I have posted my list of the best and worst of 2005. So check out the reviews at The Sobering Conclusion and click on the link on the right for the 2005 list.

I'm tired of bloggin today so the 1991 list and the 2005 awards list will have to wait another day or two.

Peace out!

P.S. What the hell is that animation above? I can't tell what's going on. Is the happy face being pummeled by the Roman number II? Is the Voltron shield amused? I'm lost in the woods without my bread crumbs again.

  1. Great reviews, as always. I've seen a full zero of the movies on your 2005 Rankings page, so it appears I have a bit of work to do.

Also, to answer your question, the happy Bears Fan face is having a seizure while holding the shrunken head of Dr. Wily from the Mega Man series.

  4. I saw 1 movie from your top ten (#1 - History of Violence) and two of each from the terrible lists. (Dukes - DVD, Legend of Zorro - Theatre, Fantastic Four - $3 Theatre, Doom - Theatre). I am proud that I never spent my money on the following films: King Kong(sorry, the premise just bores me), Longest Yard (hey - people finally figured out that Chris Rock and Adam Sandler have been dishing out crap!), Stealth (absolutely NO side comment necessary), and The Pacifier (Vin Diesels bid to get The Rock an Oscar).

  5. You should also have some honorable "Not ready for Oscar" mention list for Wedding Crashers and 40 Year Old Virgin.

Know how I know you're gay?.... You have Memoirs of a Geisha on your top ten list!

  11. I stopped doing movie reviews after the 1977 season after I declared Star Wars was a 'one hit wonder' and touted 'Young Lady Chatterly' as Oscar worthy.

  12. I think you made the right choice.

  13. The right choice being not doing reviews anymore, or watching Young Lady Chatterly?

    SKINAMAX!
