So I usually check out fatwallet.com for good deals and occasionally financial advice. I came upon this particular thread that had people suggesting what they do to save money and be frugal. There were a bunch of funny suggestions, but I thought the one on the top of this page really took the cake:

My plan for saving money involves giving up the hope of ever owning anything of value ever.

Maybe I could save more if I gave up my monthly escort, but sometimes I just want to pay someone else to do what I could easily do for myself.
Then there was this other money-saving tip from a forum-goer:
