The Greatest Bar Ever

Recently, Kauke invited me out to a bar. The place is real close to where I live, so I swung on by.

Little did I know that I was entering the closest thing to Valhalla on Earth.

I know this because as I entered the Clutch LP PITCHFORK was playing.

KUMA'S CORNER

Where all the 1/2 Pound Hamburgers are named after Metal Bands!

Of course I ate the Clutch Burger...It was good.

The only complaints I have about this place is that it is kind of pricey. Next time you visit me, we'll go there.

  1. The lack of a JackEdge sandwich (roast turkey, beef, and goat balls wrapped in a tortilla, double-fried, slathered with mayo and nacho cheese served on a pretzel roll) is keeping me away. Please convince me as to why I should go to this establishment.

  2. Because you can actually suggest the "Jackedge" as an entree. Just go to the CREATE A BURGER link on their website. I actually feel ashamed for not doing this already.

Too late, I've already done it for you.

  3. This is awesome! Josh sent me a text message with a partial screen shot of the menu, and it looked so cool I thought I dreamed it. If at some point this summer I manage to stop working and sleeping for 99% of the day, we'll meet there and eat and drink until we don't feel like it anymore. Also, if we can get a JE or UPD burger on there, that'd be (in the words of Forehead Kara) "so money".

  4. I think I know where we should have our next reunion meal!

  5. Having finally hiked over to this place, I can confirm that the burgers are indeed excellent and well worth your time. I'm not sure if Ken knew this when he made his modest sandwich suggestion, but every burger is in fact served on a pretzel roll.
