Ok, someone explain the whole Highlander premise to me again.
Haven't seen the movies in forever, but I just don't understand the endgame. So, you kill all the highlanders and then what? There can be only one and now you're destined to roam the earth, never die, and catch every STD known to man. I just don't get it.

I'm starting to think you don't care about the premise of Highlander at all... and that you just want to pad your posting stats for year 5.

ReplyDeleteIt depends...if you subscribe the 2nd movie as canon, which many fans do not, then the winner of the prize experiences the ultimate damn quickening and gets return to their home planet, Zeiss, where they get to live a normal, Zeissian life.
ReplyDeleteEven the rest of the film series completely ignores Highlander II - nothing in parts 3 or 4 makes any reference to the events in 2.
ReplyDeleteNot that things really got back on track with part 3, what with "Dr. Feelgood" being used as the soundtrack to the final battle.
