WOW - the scenes with Dr. Manhattan (the big blue guy, if you've never read the book) look awesome! The scene at the beginning where he's in the room when the particle cannon activates ("the light is taking me to pieces") and the one of his palace constructing itself on Mars look like they were built right from the original panels. With shiny 2008 graphical effects on top, but what are you gonna do.
I'm still not sold on most of the cast, but we'll see.
