  3. Well, in order for your advertising to be successful, Mr. Forbes, it must first clear a number of hurdles. First, is is memorable--memorable enough to break through the clutter? In this case I would say yes. Also, are you targeting the right audience? I have no idea where this ad appeared, or the context it appeared in, so I am unable to speak to that. Finally, keep in mind that advertising such as this is a call to action. What action, aside from sending their knees in opposite directions should people reading this ad take? Unfortunately, the reader is left to wonder, with no email address, fax number, phone #, or # to text the words "I'm in" to. Without that your ad was doomed to fail.
