I don't know how, but I just know St. Louis will get the 2020 games, just to stick it to us. They take trips to Super Bowls every decade and pull World Series victories out of their asses. Somehow, someway, St. Louis is going to get the Olympics. GREEN LIGHT THAT S%#@!
Maybe East St. Louis could host. Then both Illinois and St. Louis win!

ReplyDeleteDid anyone who lives here really want the Olympics anyway? It would have been a clusterfuck for people who lived/worked/traveled downtown, and studies have shown that the long-term economic and financial benefits of hosting the Olympics are debatable at best.

I didn't WANT the Olympics, but I didn't want to just get totally disrespected either. And this was an international dis.
